Meet the Team
Behind UPRĀNA™
A multidisciplinary team supporting body, mind, nervous system, and awareness—integrated into one system.
Debarati Mukhopadhyay
Debarati Mukhopadhyay is an author, TEDx speaker, and Indian government officer whose work spans literature, public service, and human development. She is the author of more than thirty acclaimed books and has built a community of over half a million readers and followers through her writing and public engagements.
Following her personal journey of recovery from Guillain-Barré Syndrome, she began exploring a deeper question: Why do capable, intelligent people continue to struggle with distraction, emotional overwhelm, and the inability to sustain inner stability despite having access to unprecedented knowledge?
That inquiry led to the creation of UPRĀNA™—a structured human system designed for the modern age. Drawing from Indian philosophical traditions, contemporary understanding of attention and behaviour, embodied practices, and lived experience, UPRĀNA™ integrates body, mind, and awareness into a practical framework for cultivating clarity, emotional regulation, self-direction, and lasting inner stability.
As the Founder and Human Systems Architect of UPRĀNA™, Debarati leads the conceptual development of the framework, its educational philosophy, research direction, workshops, and long-term vision. Her mission is to make timeless principles of inner mastery accessible, structured, and relevant for the challenges of contemporary life.
